For their fifth anniversary they installed a 600,000,000 candlepower searchlight on their roof that can be seen fifteen to twenty miles away. The food is always well prepared and the atmosphere is kept lively with a mutitude of entertainment features from Dueling Pianos and inhouse hypnotist, to darts and billiards, as well as some of the finest comedians to grace the stage. Just a few of their headliners have been Elayne Boosler, Bobcat Goldthwait and Larry the Cable Guy. Also, top marks in Erie go to "Dana's 24 Carrot Restaurant and Catering" in the 800 block of East Avenue. As well as traditional meals in their luxurious dining room, Dana's offers the full range of catering services.

Whether you need a pick-up or drop-off to feed a few unexpected guests or a full blown party with hundreds of guests, Dana Roeback and his team of Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts graduates have vowed to please, breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are into ethnic cuisine, there is a world of exotic eating in Erie. You could check out the "Fox and Hound English Pub & Grill" at Millcreek Plaza or go all the way east for oriental dining at the "Cathey Express" on 18th Street. In between you could drop in to "Bertrand's French Bistro" in Perry Square. "Bertrand's" is enjoying being voted as "the Best New Restaurant" in Erie and the French trained Bertrand Artigues was the winner of the "Erie's Best Chef" award in 2005.

 Perusing the lists of restaurants will turn up Italian, Middle Eastern, and even Slavic restaurants and there are two locations for the American tradition "Catfish Kitchen".
